training to maximize aerobic efficiency and training with power on the bike. His experience taught Jeff that overcoming limitations comes from technique as much as training. The training plans Jeff creates focus on quality over quantity, with a key principal of injury prevention. In addition to being a certified USAT Coach, Jeff has been accepted into Ben Greenfield’s Superhuman Coaching Program, which helps educate athletes on more than just the three disciplines of swimming, biking and running, but involves the areas of fat loss, recovery, digestion, brain, sleep and sex as well.

In addition to his triathlon accomplishments, Jeff is a Veteran of the US Navy where he served in Desert Storm. During his tour, he was aboard the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier and Naval Air Station Diego Garcia. Jeff is a graduate from Southern Illinois University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Washington University where he earned an Executive Masters of Business Administration.  Throughout high school, you could find Jeff on a tennis court, playing competitively since his youth at Nick Bolletieri Tennis Academy. He even spent a brief period in the Navy traveling to play tennis against other bases in the Western Pacific.

The triathlon lifestyle is embraced by the entire Roegge family.  Jeff’s wife, Lois, is an Ironman Florida Finisher and has also competed in numerous 70.3, Olympic and Sprint distance tris. His 2 young children, Eli and Faith, both participate in kids’ triathlon throughout the St. Louis area as well.
